Accountability and Goals

I have not been lifting/working out near as much as I would like over the last year. As such, my numbers in the gym have suffered. Well, this is where I draw the line. This is where I draw a line in the sand. I have two goals in the gym...405 deadlift and a bench press of 265. By when you may ask??? December 31, 2010. I want to start off 2011 with these in my pocket.

Well, it is nice to have the goal. Now I need a way to stay accountable. I am going to post my attempts at the end of the year on my blog. Actually at the end of September, I want to max out just to see where I am, to get a feel if these goals are within reach. I am pretty sure they are. To be honest, I am going after it. I guarantee my numbers improve regardless.

I do not have a squat goal because frankly, I really need to work on my form more than anything with that lift. As for nutrition, Michelle and I have been getting better every month.

There you have it. My goals out in public. Look for a video at the end of the year. If I am not in Chicago on 12/31, I will do this around that date.
