The Boat FLOATS!

Awhile ago I wrote about Michelle's Dad's boat. Let me share a small story on how big this moment really was or another way, how powerful a granddaughter can be.

Michelle and I are out to dinner in Florida with a good friend of Michelle's. I nonchalantly say that we are going out on the boat and his face falls. He has known Michelle for a long time and he says "I have never seen that boat out of the garage!" and then proceeds to congratulate me on getting Michelle's dad to use the boat. I quickly correct him and say "I deserve none of the credit. This is all an example in the power of the grandchild!"

On a side note, the last time Vic had the boat insured it was 1997 and that was a couple years after the boat was last in the water.

Without further ado (because this blog is WAY overdue), here are some pictures from the big day.

Here is Sam anxiously awaiting the upcoming boat ride...ok I was anxious. She was excited to be playing in the garage.

Here Vic is making sure the brake lights are working. Boats are a Pain in the ARSE...

The boat in its natural space...in the garage...

The boat is LOCKED and LOADED!

Is the boat really ready for the water? Only time would tell!

Off we go and everything is a go!

We have a happy passenger!

And a happy captain!

We did have a couple set backs and docked for a little bit but for the most part everything was good.

It was a very successful trip and I can not wait to go on it again next time we are down there. Nice job Vic!

Oh, I mean Samantha can not wait to go on it again!
