Well, it is good to be home but not so good to be back to work. Boooo!
Here are a few thoughts from the last week.
- Oak Island was great. It was not crowded at all. There are golf courses everywhere.
- Horseshoes was fun on Friday but not any other day...maybe because I sucked every other day.
- Someone put a hex on my driver. Whoever did that please take it off.
- Toby's bird game was AWESOME.
- Renata's Tour de France game was ever more fun, even though I never won.
- Clearly babies like my loud colorful personality...now only if adults did too...
- Dark Knight is a great movie. Heath Ledger should win an Oscar.
- I read my first fiction novel maybe since college, A Prayer For Owen Meany by John Irving. it was really good.
- I already have an idea for top 5 this week. Get ready!
I will not be posting much since I am buried at work much like I was buried in the sand last week.
Cheers!

See ya!
So here I am sitting at my desk. I have so much work to do today but I am struggling in a few ways. Let me tell you.
1. Friar Tucks night was last night. I am not 25 anymore or ever again. I was smart enough not to close the bar but not smart enough not to be hungover
2. I leave tomorrow morning. Yes, I am excited. How am I supposed to work?
3. I have some tedious work to do...i know...i need to suck it up.
Will someone please stop the jackhammer in my head?
So no wi-fi down in NC, so no top 5 next week. I know...you are sad...
Have a great weekend and week!

Hump Day Top 5 - Shout out to moms!
Happy Wednesday to all! Today's topic should is a little fun and I need to give a shout out to Big Z for giving me the idea. Top 5 hottest tv moms of all time! We have to narrow this down a little, top 5 hottest SITCOM moms. She had to be in a sitcom. Iam excluding Rachel Green aka Jennifer Aniston from Friends even though she was a mom for like 5 minutes of the show. The character had to be a mom for a significant part of the show. Without further ado, here are mine!

1. Laura Petrie - Mary Tyler Moore - The Dick Van Dyke Show - The show is too old for me but I have seen many reruns and she looked good!
2. Aunt Becky - Lori Loughlin - Full House - I believe the picture says it all.
3. Samantha Stephens - Elizabeth Montgomery - Bewitched - Again, I was a little young for this show but saw enough reruns to know she had game.
4. Jessica Ne...oh wait...she was not in a sitcom....lets move on.
4. Elyse Keaton - Meredith Baxter - Family Ties - I just loved this show so much. How could I not include her?
5. Debra Barone - Patricia Heaton - Everybody Loves Raymond - I am not a very big fan of the show but she does warrant mention.

A special shout out goes to Lilly Munster, seriously, look her up, Claire Huxtable, and Betty Rubble. All of them could have made my list!

Golf, BBQs and A wedding
Basically, those three things sum up my four day weekend.
I golfed on Thursday and Saturday. I made it to two BBQs on Friday. On Saturday afternoon and night, I was at a wedding. The wedding was fabulous. If anyone is ever thinking of having a wedding in Chicago, Fulton's is a great place for a reception. Wow.
Yesterday, I spent 6 or 7 hours working while watching what I can easily call the greatest tennis match I have ever watched. It was awesome. Too bad someone has to be coined the "loser" of the match. Both played phenomenal.
It was a good weekend for soaking in some sun, catching up with old friends and losing golf balls.
Back to work...for a week...North Carolina...right around the corner...

Congratulations Jon!
I just found out that my cousin took first place in a tournament this week. After looking at his scorecard, I noticed he had 5 birdies in 10 holes. Can anyone say "ON FIRE"?
Anyway, I just want to give a shout out.
Lets hope I can golf 1/10 as good tomorrow...probably not...

Hump Day Top 5
Today is PwC's friday! Yeah to a long weekend! Before I get too far into this blog, I wanted to wish everyone a happy 4th of July! If you have the opportunity, celebrate 4th of July the right way and beat up a Brit! On to the top 5!
I am sticking with an American theme, the top 5 American brewed beers. This one is dairly simple. What american beers are your favorite to drink? One rule. You must have drank it at some point in your life.
1. PBR light - PBR ME ASAP! The beer in a bottle is my favorite. You can never go wrong and the price is low. Great combo!
2. Sam Adams Oktoberfest - If this beer was sold year around, I would probably be 15-20 pounds heavier. I am in general not a Sam Adams fan but they got this recipe correct.
3. Coors light - Oh, Golden, CO is a beautiful place. That rocky mountain brew is so good. Ummm, thirsty...
4. Yuengling - America's oldest brewery. This is brewed in PA but for some reason is hard to find here. WTF! Never had it? I highly recommend it.
5. Dead guy Ale - Rogue is the brewery that makes it. It is located in Oregon. I really need to make a visit to the upper west coast. I think there are a lot of breweries up there that I would like. It would probably change my list a lot! Some day...
If dead guy is 5a, miller light is 5b, such a great light beer. Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!

Half way home
Hello July! Half of 2008 is GONE!
Yikes...I am quickly approaching a birthday...never good...
New year's resolution? What was it? If it was linear, are you half way home? You should be. Why not make a resolution for the 2nd half of the year. Start today!
Sorry for the lack of posts...work has been hammering down lately.
Have a good day and get ready for top 5 tomorrow!
