Happy Holidays!

Man, the time went by fast. I swear yesterday was December 18th and I was hoping in the jeep, heading to Florida looking forward to having TWO weeks off of work.

Now, it is January 4th...what happened?????

1. The road trip down was very smooth. Samantha did great. She slept for 11 hours straight through the night while Michelle and I drove. Thank you Samantha!
2. The road trip back had worse weather but in the end, same scenario. Samantha did great. That is all we could really ask for.
3. Random thought I had. This was the third year in a row we have made this drive and we have done this drive with three different cars.
4. Florida was great. I golfed a few times, went to the magic/celtics game on Christmas day and we spent a couple days in Sarasota. The time down there went by so fast.
5. I got the Super Mario Bros for Wii. This is basically Super Mario Bros 3 but for the Wii. Here is the kicker. You can play up to 4 people at once on any level. Where was this for regular nintendo????? Contra could play two players at once. I feel like part of my childhood has been cheated...
6. Once we got back from Florida, we headed right to a New Year's Eve wedding reception. Between the drive, a cold I found and being over-served at the party (I complained to the front desk!!! OK - no I didn't), the next day was top 5 hangovers of all time.
7. Of course that next day was the day I spent with my nephews, brother, my parents for Christmas. It was a good time but boy did I feel bad!
8. In the end, it was a great break. I got great gifts and everything went well. Why did it end so quickly????
