We won in softball last night by slaughter rule. Technically, we did not have to play. We could have taken the forfeit since the other team only had 7 people but we wanted to play. So it was a live game. We caught for them so that helped. We started of slow but eveything came together for us (except my hitting which was awful). Our defense played really well. Fubar pitched great and we put up a 7 spot in the 2nd inning and never look back. The called the game in the bottom of the 5th. We are back at .500 looking to get back into the winning side of things.

My best season ever, too! A HR and a triple so far. I'm sort of like Jenna Fisher's character in Blades Of Glory (being the outcast reject athlete in a family).
Really, though, after a shaky (read: crappy) first inning on defense, you guys REALLY tightened things up and played a nice game after that. See what happens when you keep me off the field?

In softball you are supposed to be generous when keeping book. It was a triple.
