Rod Smith officially
retired today from the NFL. It is a sad day for me, any Bronco fans, and the entire Bronco organization. He went undrafted in the NFL and had the best career of anyone that has never got drafted. He rewrote all the records for WR in the Broncos organization and he has a chance of making the pro football hall of fame.
Here is a great quote from Rod. "I didn't have any dances, I didn't spike the ball, I didn't say 'Hey, look at me,' " Smith said. "And the reason is I knew those other 10 guys had more to do with it than I did. I was just the end result."
Here is Rod doing what he did best...

I salute you Rod, back to back champ!

Enjoy retirement!

He didn't have any dances, but yet there is a picture of him doing the mile high salute. That doesn't say look at me. How hard is it to rewrite WR records for the Broncos? Not like he had to follow Swan and Stallworth likes Hines did. That being said, I was a fan and he should be in the HOF.
You said "rod".
